JustFairly is building a document-first legal-tech platform for AI-assisted drafting of small claims and complaints, followed by human legal review.

JustFairly is an early-stage legal-tech startup building a platform for AI drafting of legal small claims and complaints with subsequent human review.

Our first pilot will focus on Ukrainian refugees in Norway. We see this as a meaningful starting point for building a service that can later support a broader group of people who are priced out of traditional legal help.

The workflow is document-first. The user submits information and relevant documents through the platform. The platform prepares a first draft, and the draft is then made available to a lawyer for review. The goal is to make review work more focused and predictable: the lawyer receives a structured case file and a prepared draft, rather than starting from an open-ended intake process.

For lawyers, JustFairly is intended to become a new channel for paid, fixed-scope legal work. If the pilot is successful, lawyers on the platform will be able to take review assignments remotely, work with clearly defined tasks, and receive compensation for helping users who would often not otherwise become paying legal clients.

This is not meant to replace traditional legal practice, but to create a more efficient way to serve smaller matters where the current market often does not work well.

We are currently developing the MVP and expect the pilot to begin in September 2026, provided the platform is ready and the necessary safeguards are in place. Before launch, we are speaking with lawyers to understand how this type of platform should fit into their working routines, what makes a review task realistic, and what conditions would make participation attractive.
